 About the Easy Lineset Sleeve
The Easy Sleeve will save you more money in sheetrock, paint, and copper repairs than the Easy Sleeve costs!
The Easy Sleeve is made of thick steel and requires no assembly upon installation. The primary purpose of the Easy Sleeve is to eliminate the hassle of copper lining kinks. The Easy Sleeve prevents kinking by neatly place the copper in a thick, steel frame. This made the copper lines very sturdy and virtually impossible to bend by hand. There is no assembly required! The Easy Sleeve also has a paintable surface, so that is can look like brick, siding, stucco, and more.
There are two sizes for your convenience: 1-2 linesets and 3-4 linesets.
Installation Instructions
Installation is quick and easy. The assembly is completed before shipping and arrives in one, simple piece. The screw holes are also predrilled for your convenience.
As shown in the above example, mount the steel piece located on the side of the Easy Sleeve to the stud inside the wall with two or more screws. The opening going outside should be facing the ground, not up. Then, run the copper lines through the opening to the outside. Cut the lines so only approximately three to four inches are exposed and tape them together. You will then be prepared to install the outside equipment when you return.
